Charles L. Carpenter directs the Global Oilfield Service and Equipment practice for Preng & Associates. He joined our firm in 2001 after spending over 25 years in management in various engineering, manufacturing, drilling, marine services, and operating and maintenance contracting companies. He has lived and worked overseas and has recruited personnel at all levels in every continent. Prior to joining Preng & Associates, he was President of Axsia Serck Baker and a Director of Axsia Group, a fluids processing technology group of companies engaged in the design and construction of oil, gas, and water treatment systems. His industry experience also includes senior financial and general management positions with Enserch Corporation, Baker Hughes, Inc., and Ensco International Inc.
Since joining Preng, Mr. Carpenter has successfully completed Board Level and C-Suite searches for a broad range of clients in the oilfield service and equipment business globally.
He served as a Director of the British American Business Council and is currently a Director of the Houston Chapter of the March of Dimes. He also is a Life Member and Lifetime Committeeman of the Houston Livestock and Rodeo. Mr. Carpenter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and Finance from the University of Houston and is a Certified Public Accountant.
